I am pursuing electrical engineering and will pass out in 2006. I want to make my career im merchant navy after my graduation. Are there any options for me? I also wear spectacles (-2.5). Please guide me.

Not very sure if Merchant Navy would be a great option post an engineering degree. The spectacles may also be a hindrance vis-a-vis others considering every other competency being equal. There are many lucrative options in the software sector which you may like to explore.
