Q: hello sir, I have completed B.pharm and I am planning to join IPA(Institute of Patent Attorneys), India. please let me know opportunities for a patent attorney .
A: There is good career opportunities with law firms, corporations, research institutions, and KPO's.
You can do self study and clear exams from World Intellectual Property Organization WIPO http://www.wipo.int/academy/en/. This will give you good depth of subject prior to you course at IPA.
With B.Pharma, without a law degree you will be classified as a Patent Agent after you pass the Patent Exam.
