I am interested in doing research. I have done M.Sc. in physical chemistry. I have given Net Exam but i failed. Can u pl. guide me about Maharashtra level SLET or any other ways to do research? How is the SLET exam? eligibility criteria, paper pattern, last yrs papers etc. How to prepare for such exams?

This State Level Test is based on the pattern of the National Eligibility Test (NET).
Eligibility for Lectureship
The NET qualified candidates shall be eligible to apply for the post of lecturer in all Indian universities/Institutes/colleges.
The SLET qualified candidates shall be eligible for appointment to the post of lecturer only in the universities/colleges belonging to the state from where they have passed the SLET examination.
You can get the past papers from bookstores. There are number of coaching institutes (like Brilliant Tutorial)offers postal coaching fot NET/SLET exams.
