Q: I am 23 years old. I have just completed my MBA from leading B school in marketing and got a job in TCS. My work is related to IT consultancy here. My dream was to join some leading consultancy in the field of marketing such as Mckinsey , BCG etc. But as these consultancies doesn't recruit from our b school i decided to go for IT consultancy so that i can later shift to my dream job. Now please guide me can i shift to strategic consulting, marketing consulting etc from my present job (definitely one or two years down the line) in leading consultancies. If yes, what kind of preparation do i need in terms of skill set required and how can i apply for these jobs.
