Is there any difference between Msc and Ms?

Message: sir i have completed my b.tech in biotechnology and presently
i am thinking of doing a pg in biotechnolgy sir suggested by my friend
to do Msc biotechnology in scotland as even he is doing it but he had
taken bsc biotechnology during his ug cource. sir i want to know how
or is there any difference between Msc and Ms and also me finishing
b.tech (engineering) will it be advisable to do pg as Msc biotechnolog
please sir i need a solution because i need to selecte one of these
and before joining i need to know if there is any difference
