I am looking for a change I want to get into Java/J2EE development I have just joined the course also. Should wait for my cousrse to finish or should I change my job as currently I am not at all statified with my job, infact I am eager to change.

I would advise you to look for a job in a setting that will give exposure to the field (Java/J2EE) as well as some experience.
Network with everyone you know. They can be a good source of jobs and leads.
