I am in 11th std. I am currently preparing for IIT, but after the changes, i feel that i should stop preparing for it. My teachers feel that i should continue but im confused. what to do???

I am iitian and hence considere myself qualified to answer your question. I can assure you that IITs really are terrific and worth working your backside off. The new pattern is only 1 exam-an objective paper only.Thus it will be similar to AIEEE and all the state entrance exams. You keep preparing.You firstly get your theory right,without worrying about the problems.The theory may appear a little abstract.Then pounce on those problems and rip them apart.Develop both accuracy and speed(in that order).And one more thing you can never be too accurate or too fast,you can keep improving till the day of the exam. Adopting this attitude sure worked for me,hope it does for you too.
